ROBIN JENKS, LPC
Robin is a Kansas City native and a licensed professional counselor (LPC). She received her undergraduate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, her master’s in science/psychology-counseling from Avila University, and continues to strengthen her knowledge base through continuing education courses. She specializes in working with children/adolescents with trauma and, as a former probation officer, with individuals who have court-ordered treatment. In the past, Robin assisted children and adolescents, along with their families, through her tenure at Comprehensive Mental Health Services in Independence, MO, and at Hilltop Residential Facility for juvenile offenders in Lee’s Summit, MO. Robin also has a long history working with victims of domestic violence through her efforts at Hope House. Robin has three adult children, one granddaughter, and currently resides in Independence, MO, with her three rescued “fur babies.” In her free time, she enjoys live theater, art, and outdoor events.
